The IV Popular Race PRAN “Run without resistance!” will be held on November 10, 2024 as part of the “World Awareness Week on the Prudential Use of Antibiotics”. This activity takes place within the framework of the PRAN, National Antibiotic Resistance Plan collaboration, with biosanitary faculties and aims to raise awareness among future health professionals about the importance of the problem of resistance and the importance of prudent use of antibiotics.
The first edition of ¡Corre sin resistencias!, held in 2019, had the participation of 5 cities and about 1500 participants. It was only the beginning, as the number of cities increased over the years and, in 2022 and 2023, the second and third editions already reached more than 2,000 participants each.
Organized by the students of the faculties and coordinated by the PRAN, they run under the slogan “Run without resistance!” generating a very noticeable impact on social networks and in the faculties themselves where the event is already echoed.
The goal for this 2024 is still to hold more races simultaneously.
