The FEMP, through its Network of Local Livestock and Meat Entities, has launched a large-scale survey aimed at city councils and provincial councils to analyze the role of local entities in promoting the livestock and meat sector.

The objective is to obtain a clear and up-to-date overview of the initiatives being developed throughout the country, as well as to identify needs and opportunities for improvement.
The survey is structured around three key areas:
- Generational renewal and continuity of farms, to identify local initiatives and facilitate the exchange of experiences.
- Administrative barriers and access to financing, focusing on identifying real obstacles in management and moving towards a future observatory.
- Sustainability and product enhancement, focusing on the promotion of locally sourced products (Km 0) and on compiling replicable best practices.
With this initiative, the FEMP seeks to highlight the work of local entities, which is often little known, and to generate a real picture of the support for the livestock and meat sector in Spain.
