An agreement to strengthen sector leadership

The collaboration between ANAFRIC and AECOC aims to reinforce the sector’s main meeting point and establish a long-term alliance between both organisations.

“For ANAFRIC, becoming the Global Partner of the 2026 AECOC Congress on Meat and Processed Products is a strategic opportunity to strengthen our institutional presence and to continue working, together with the main companies and organisations in the sector, on the major challenges ahead,” explains José Friguls, president of ANAFRIC.

Participation in AECOC “will allow us to place the voice of our members at the centre of the debate, contribute to a shared vision of the future of the industry, and highlight the essential role played by the meat sector in the economy and society.”

For her part, Maite Arrizabalaga, AECOC’s Commercial and Marketing Director, points out that “for AECOC, starting this strategic alliance with ANAFRIC is very important, given its role as a reference organisation in the livestock–meat sector. We are pleased to work together on a key meeting point that will help us promote the value of the meat sector and address present and future challenges.”

ANAFRIC approaches this Congress “with the commitment to promote a solid, representative meeting point aimed at building an increasingly cohesive, competitive and innovative sector.”
