ANAFRIC Strengthens its Presence at Alimentaria with 12 Companies in its Group Stand and New Proposals for Today’s Consumer

ANAFRIC, the meat industry association, will once again participate in Alimentaria, which will be held from March 23 to 26 at the Gran Via venue of Fira de Barcelona, with a group stand that this year features an increased number of participating companies, reflecting the dynamism and innovative capacity of the Spanish meat sector.

In this edition, the ANAFRIC space will include the participation of 12 companies from the sector: Carnes Félix, Cárnicas Coviher, Celevant, Escorxador Frigorífic Reixach, Grup Viñas, Murgaca, Roca 1927, Sucarn, Miguel Vergara, Pirinat, Meat Borsa, and MeatLamb.

The joint presence at the group stand allows these companies to strengthen their international visibility, generate business opportunities, and showcase the diversity and quality of the Spanish meat industry to buyers, distributors, and professionals from around the world attending Alimentaria.

Innovation and New Products for Today’s Consumer

The participating companies will take advantage of the trade fair to present new products geared towards emerging consumer trends, with offerings that respond to the demand for more practical, higher value-added products adapted to new eating habits, such as gourmet ready-to-eat meals, new brands of portioned products, and new lines of high-protein meals.

These offerings reflect how the meat sector continues to evolve to adapt to an increasingly demanding consumer who requires quality, convenience, transparency, and new gastronomic experiences.

ANAFRIC to Participate in the 4th International Halal Congress

Beyond the group stand, ANAFRIC will also have an active role in the Alimentaria program of activities. Specifically, the association will participate in the 4th International Halal Congress, taking place on March 24th, in the session entitled “The Halal Meat Sector: Sustained Growth of Quality Demand,” which will feature José Friguls, president of ANAFRIC.

This meeting will analyze the opportunities offered by the halal market for the food industry and the role of the meat sector in meeting an increasingly important global demand.

Promoting Female Leadership in the Meat Industry

Also, on March 25th, ANAFRIC will collaborate with the “Up Close” initiative, organized by Cárnica magazine, which is holding its second edition within the framework of Alimentaria.

This meeting will bring together female executives from the meat industry to share experiences and reflect on some of the sector’s main challenges, such as innovation, sustainability, and generational change.

A Meeting Point for the International Meat Sector

ANAFRIC’s participation in Alimentaria reinforces the association’s commitment to the international promotion of the Spanish meat sector, facilitating opportunities for companies, buyers, and industry professionals to connect.

The group stand is thus establishing itself as a key point of reference within the trade fair for learning about the production capacity, innovation, and export potential of the meat companies represented by ANAFRIC.
