Leather Cluster Barcelona organized an information workshop focused on funding opportunities for international business promotion, with the aim of strengthening the sector’s competitiveness in foreign markets.
The session, held on March 27 at Adoberia Bella, was held in collaboration with the consulting firm Connect-IN, which specializes in internationalization strategies and is an ACCIÓ-accredited agent.
During the event, Connect-IN experts presented the main funding options available to boost companies’ international expansion, offering practical guidance on how to access these funds and maximize their impact.

Boosting International Promotion
The workshop allowed attendees to learn in detail about the various grants that can support strategic actions such as participation in international trade fairs, the development of digital marketing campaigns, website optimization, and the implementation of traditional communication and marketing initiatives targeting foreign markets.
In addition, real-world case studies were shared from cluster companies that have already accessed this funding, such as Despell, highlighting the tangible benefits of these programs in the internationalization process.
Personalized Advice and Upcoming Calls for Proposals
One of the aspects most valued by attendees was the opportunity to hold individual meetings with the Connect-IN team. This allowed for the analysis of specific needs and guided each company toward the most suitable funding options.
Leather Cluster Barcelona reminds attendees that some funding opportunities are not yet open, although their publication is expected between June and July, under a competitive bidding process.
Ongoing Support for Companies
This event is part of the grant and subsidy advisory service promoted by the cluster, with the aim of supporting its members in identifying, managing, and leveraging funding opportunities.
In this way, Leather Cluster Barcelona continues to reinforce its commitment to the competitiveness and internationalization of companies in the sector, keeping them informed about programs and lines of support, especially those managed by ACCIÓ.
