Meat Attraction 2021, International Meat Industry Fair, has held the first online meeting of its Organizing Committee that confirmed the dates of the fair, from February 2 to 4, 2021, with a message of unity and commitment of the sector to Meat Attraction and the endorsement of all the work developed by IFEMA to implement all the necessary protocols for health, safety and access, and to celebrate its fairs with the required levels of security and control for exhibitors, visitors and staff. This edition opens with a new approach to combine the face-to-face event with online actions, under the motto “Helping companies to connect”, and with five axes of development: internationalization of companies, hotels, restaurants and food service, channel specialized retailer, enhancement of the image of the meat product and positioning in front of the consumer (Meat Week), and the fair as a presentation center for sector innovation and business development.
Meat Attraction will have three main areas in this edition: the Product Area (with the presence of meat, meat derivatives, quality figures, IbericoLand, Ecorganic Market, Halal and Kosher area, etc.), the Auxiliary Industry Area (with Meatic : technologies, automation and digitization, machinery, packaging, equipment, financial entities and services), and The Butcher Shop, a new specialized Area aimed at the retail channel.
