Negotiations advance for a new slaughterhouse in Zamora

The investment to be made will be around 24.7 million euros and it is expected that 435 jobs will be created. These are the forecasts for the new slaughterhouse in Zamora, promoted by the cooperative Cobadu and Caja Rural de Zamora, together with Felipe Rebollo. One of the steps has already been taken after the request for the authorization of exceptional land use to the local council, reports La Opinion de Zamora, news of which Eurocarne has echoed.

The new meat center would be located on an area of 27 hectares near the beef slaughterhouse that Felipe Rebollo already owns in this town. The idea is to dedicate the new slaughterhouse to beef slaughter while the current facilities, mainly dedicated to beef, would be used for pigs.

From the city council they have confirmed that they are going to facilitate the procedures for the implantation
