Project to highlight native breeds of Spanish beef

Carpisa Foods  presents a pioneering project aimed at highlighting the native breeds of cattle in the country. Spain has a notable cattle heritage, with more than 46 breeds of cattle, of which at least 36 are in danger of extinction. The initiative deepens the knowledge of native breeds at risk, from their origin to their genetic and nutritional characteristics, with the aim of preserving these breeds and highlighting them as an essential asset of biodiversity.

The traceability and transparency of the supply chain thus become key elements to ensure responsible and environmentally friendly practices in each and every one of the production stages of Carpisa Foods.
