PROVACUNO Launches a New Edition of its Training Course on Nutrition, Sustainability, and Sector Challenges

PROVACUNO has launched the sixth edition of its specialized training course for the beef cattle sector, an initiative aimed at professionals across the entire value chain, as well as students interested in deepening their knowledge of the sector.

The training program addresses key aspects such as nutrition and health, the role of animal protein in food, the sustainability of livestock farming, and the current challenges facing the sector, including anti-livestock movements and new food trends.

The course, which will be held online over six sessions between May 11 and 20, combines technical content with discussion forums, with the aim of offering rigorous, accessible, and evidence-based training.

Among its main objectives are strengthening knowledge about the properties of beef, highlighting the sector’s role in public health and nutrition, and improving professionals’ ability to address existing misinformation surrounding animal protein consumption.

Furthermore, this training focuses on sustainability, the sector’s impact on rural areas and its contribution to economic and social development, as well as future challenges related to innovation and new food production models.

With this initiative, PROVACUNO continues its commitment to training as a key tool for strengthening the competitiveness, reputation, and future of the meat sector.
