PROVACUNO’s Information Campaign in Madrid Schools on the Characteristics of Beef

PROVACUNO, together with the Community of Madrid, is launching an information campaign about beef this November. These information sessions, aimed at students between 8 and 11 years old, will be held in various schools throughout the region and will feature renowned chefs from the Community of Madrid, such as Javier Estévez, Javier Aranda, Miguel Carretero, and Fernando del Cerro. The first session, held today at the Madre de Dios school in Madrid, featured the participation of Michelin-starred chef Javier Aranda.

During the sessions, the chefs explain the characteristics of our beef, the versatility of this product in traditional and avant-garde cuisine, ending the event with the tasting of a beef sandwich from the Sierra de Guadarrama Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), accompanied by some of the quality products of the Community of Madrid such as olive oil from the Madrid PDO, bread or vegetables from Aranjuez or Villa del Prado, among others.
