The Spanish selection of butchers is looking for a new member

The Spanish Selection of Butchers opens a new process to select a new member to complete the team, currently made up of nine professionals from different parts of Spain and with different profiles that will be completed with the new addition.




The object of the Spanish selection of butchers, whose objective is participation in the World Butcher’s Challenge that will take place in Paris in March 2025, is to enhance the image of the profession, to make it known. and promote generational change, among others.

The selection process is open to any self-employed professional or worker in a specialized meat trade store who meets some of the qualities required in international competitions such as cutting or boning skills, preparation or the ability to work as a team. .

Those interested in being part of the Spanish Selection of Butchers must send a video showing a butchering or boning, and another with a preparation, as well as a registration form.

The deadline for submitting applications ends on January 31, 2024, in the first call. Another would be launched if there were not enough candidates.
