Enrollment in the MAPA course to understand the ecoregimes oriented to PAC pastures

The registration period for the course “Ecoregimes oriented to pasture surfaces: Extensive grazing; Biodiversity Islands or Sustainable Harvesting” which will be held on April 26 through the Virtual Classroom. This is the course on practical aspects of application on the ground of the practices to be carried out on the pasture surfaces included in the eco-regimes of the CAP from 2023.

REGISTRO AL AULA VIRTUAL

The ecoregimes (EERR) are one of the main novelties of the new CAP 2023-2027. Acceptance of the eco-regimes (EE.RR.) is voluntary for the producer, who will decide for which plots of his farm he requests them or not, and under which practices he justifies their implementation.

Ecoregimes are direct (annual) payments made to farmers who voluntarily accept the implementation of environmental practices, and are made per hectare or, in the case of ranchers, per pasture area for the cattle.

There are 9 eco-regimes, or eco-schemes, included in the new CAP (2023-27), they are:

✔Carbon Agriculture and Agroecology: Extensive Grazing, Mowing and Biodiversity in Wet Pasture Surfaces. Extensive grazing, establishment of islands of biodiversity or sustainable harvesting.

✔Carbon Agriculture and Agroecology: Extensive grazing, mowing and biodiversity in the areas of Mediterranean Pastures

✔Carbon Agriculture and Agroecology: rotations and no-tillage on rainfed farmland.

✔Carbon Agriculture and Agroecology: rotations and no-tillage in dryland humid farmland.

✔Carbon Agriculture and Agroecology: rotations and no-tillage on irrigated farmland.

✔Carbon Agriculture: vegetal covers and inert covers in woody crops on flat land.

✔Carbon Agriculture: vegetal covers and inert covers in woody crops on medium-sloping land.

✔Carbon Agriculture: vegetal covers and inert covers in woody crops on steep terrain.

✔Agroecology: Biodiversity spaces in farmland and permanent crops.

The deadline for applying for registration will end on April 12.
