On November 25, the city of Lleida will host the 9th edition of “Let’s Make the Most of Food”, organized by the Department of Climate Action, Food and Rural Agenda and IRTA. The event has become Catalonia’s benchmark meeting on food waste reduction and resource optimization.

This year’s edition will focus on innovation and upcycling, an emerging European trend that promotes the transformation of food by-products and surpluses into new ingredients, products and sustainable business opportunities. An approach that aligns with the goal of building a more efficient, circular and environmentally friendly food chain, where the meat industry also plays a key role.
The event will feature inspiring talks, real examples from companies that are already closing the loop, and networking spaces to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration between business, research and public administration.
It is an essential meeting for companies, researchers and entrepreneurs seeking to move towards a circular economy and discover how to turn sector challenges into value and future.
The full program and registration details will be available in the coming days.
