MeatXperience, the fair for meat professionals, is presented

MeatXperience is presented as the specialized event geared towards the needs of companies and professionals in the meat retail trade and artisan manufacturers of meat products: butchers, delicatessens and poultry.



The fair, which debuts at La Farga de L’Hospitalet on October 27 and 28, 2024, is also configured as an exhibition showcase for trends and innovations in the sector, as well as a space for training and learning thanks to a complete program of participatory activities.

The format of the MeatXperience fair will foster opportunities for commercial exchange and will provide a true innovation experience with added value for the sector. Throughout the two days, the meeting will revolve around different topics of interest such as contests and exhibitions, presentations on meat and health or the future of the sector, technology, digitization and tasting at the point of sale.

At MeatXperience you will discover the latest trends in cuts, tools and seasonings, learn from the experts with live demos and, in addition, get practical advice through lectures with professionals who have excelled in learning by doing and have found ways to stand out and position yourself in the business. An example of this will be the presentations dedicated to identifying success stories in the digital commerce of fresh products with a broader vision of convenience services for customers. In addition, MeatXperience contemplates parallel actions before and after the fair with technical conferences throughout the territory on topics of sectoral interest.

5,000 m2 with multipurpose rooms

MeatXperience has the support of the unions of the Catalan Federation of Carnissers and Xarcuters-Cansaladers, which integrates professionals from Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona, encompassed under the brand Carnissers Xarcuters Catalunya.

The exhibition space will occupy more than 5,000m2, plus a large auditorium for large-format events and will have multipurpose rooms for holding different presentations. La Farga is an enclosure very well connected to the public transport network and has parking for private transport.

The event, organized by the specialized agency Impacta Group, “is a great opportunity for meat professionals to identify the best solutions to their needs through new participatory formats that make this event an experience,” explains Oriol Tarrats. , from the Catalan Federation of Carnissers and Xarcuters-Cansaladers, the member in charge of the Organizing Committee.

«We will talk about profitability and generational relevance, two of the main challenges in the sector in the face of the incorporation of Generation Z profiles and the new online shopping habits. We need to attract new generations, with training adapted to the real needs of the market”, explains Tarrats. “How to sell more and convince a young audience influenced by social networks will be one of the cross-cutting themes during the fair.”
