Provacuno, present in the diet of all the Spanish rugby base championships

PROVACUNO the Spanish Beef Interprofessional Organization, representing all farmers, industrialists and marketers in the sector, will be present at all the Spanish rugby base championships, from 6 to 18 years of age, during the months of April , May and June.



Rugby as a collective activity of high physical and emotional intensity requires a healthy lifestyle where nutrition, rest and training are part of the sport itself.

It is there where beef plays a fundamental role since it is an essential food in a healthy and balanced diet such as the Mediterranean Diet with innumerable nutritional properties that provides proteins of high biological value, vitamins and minerals. In addition, it incorporates vitamins such as A, D, E, K, C and group B vitamins, especially B12, essential in the formation of red blood cells and the proper functioning of the nervous system.

The Executive Committee of the Spanish Rugby Federation awarded different clubs the organization of the competitions for the different categories of grassroots rugby, which will be held on the following dates and places:

  • April 29-30. Spanish Championship and National M18 Tournament: CR El Salvador in the fields of Pepe Rojo (Valladolid).
  • May 6-7. Spanish Championship and National M16 Tournament: VRAC in the fields of Pepe Rojo (Valladolid).
  • May 13 -14. Spanish Championship and National M14 Tournament: CR El Salvador in the fields of Pepe Rojo (Valladolid).
  • May 20 -21. National Festival M12: CRC in the Valle de las Cañas (Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid).
  • June 3 -4. National Festival M10-8-6: VRAC in the fields of Pepe Rojo (Valladolid).
