Special Feature: Coviher: Tradition, Origin, and Commitment to Andalusian Livestock Farming

From March 23 to 26, at Alimentaria Barcelona, we will have the pleasure of hosting Coviher as a co-exhibitor at the ANAFRIC stand. A company with a history deeply rooted in the Andalusian countryside and a global vision of the sheep and goat meat sector.

Coviher was founded in 2003 as a project driven by a group of people with strong ties to the rural environment and extensive experience in the sheep and goat sector in Andalusia. From its inception, the company has had a clear mission: to consolidate Andalusian livestock farming as an engine of economic, social, and environmental development within its region.

For Coviher, origin is not just a starting point; it is a way of being. Its relationship with the land, with the shepherds, with the farmers, and with the families that make up the rural community is a fundamental part of its identity. This connection to the local community translates into respect for tradition, a deep understanding of the production cycle, and a constant commitment to the quality and sustainability of all its processes.

The company works with Merino sheep and various Andalusian goat breeds, which are known for their meat yield and low fat content, offering products that meet the demands of both haute cuisine and the end consumer.

Over the years, Coviher has evolved into a modern company with an international presence, without ever losing sight of its roots or the importance of preserving the culture and traditions of its region. This balance between origin and global reach is one of the pillars that sets it apart in the market.
