The Paquito returns in 2026 with its largest edition ever. The Paquito Route, promoted by INTEROVIC, will bring together more than 300 bars and restaurants in over 40 Spanish cities starting May 8th, solidifying its position as one of the most important gastronomic campaigns for promoting the consumption of suckling lamb, lamb, and kid goat.

The initiative, which began in Madrid in 2019 with 40 participating establishments, has now surpassed 1,100 venues over its seven-year history, demonstrating the ability of these meats to connect with new audiences through modern, urban, and creative dishes.
This year’s edition includes cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Lleida, Valencia, Zaragoza, Pamplona, Toledo, and Cáceres, with versions of the Paquito ranging from traditional recipes to creations inspired by international cuisines.
In addition to boosting consumption, the campaign focuses on the sustainability of lamb and goat meat within the European campaign “Celebrate the everyday with European lamb,” highlighting the sector’s role in rural conservation, biodiversity, and fire prevention.
New this year, Madrid’s markets are joining the route, and the Best Paquito in Spain competition will return, rewarding the creativity and innovation of participating establishments.
